Job Title: Office Assistant / Receptionist

Details:

  • Pay: $22-$24/hr depending on experience level
  • Schedule: 35 hour work week of 7:45am-5pm Monday-Wednesday, 7:45am-4pm on Thursday - paid lunches M-Th. If workload allows for one-off Fridays but very minimal.
  • Location: 100% in office
  • Type: Contract to hire on permanent after 90 working days

Job Duties/Description:

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Greet visitors and assist them to whom their meeting with
  • Office logistics such as mail distribution, document preparation and filing
  • Creation of newsletters, employee recognition, and office communications
  • General office operations and special projects as needed
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, email, and fax communication
  • Scan, file, and maintain employee and client documentation
  • Office supply ordering and inventory

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of administrative or office experience
  • Ability to pass an MN Department of Human Services background check
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
